On June 9, 2022, the New Orleans City Council presented proclamations to each Gold Medal Winner in the New Orleans NAACP ACT-SO competition held at Southern University New Orleans on April 23, 2022. Also recognized were the judges, teachers, coaches, coordinators, facilitators, and the proud parents of the participants.
