The 2024 ACT-SO NEW ORLEANS STORY!

For the 2023-2024 school year, 226 of our youth in the Greater New Orleans area and beyond registered to participate in our local scholarship competition on April 20 2024, in one or more of the 33 ACT-SO competition categories. Categories include: Performing Arts, Visual Arts, STEM, Humanities, Spoken and Written Word, and Hospitality and Culinary Arts.

On competition day, over 125 students showed up to share their stellar talents throughout the day. Because students participated in multiple categories, 160 competitive events took place.

DONATIONS

Empower the future of our 28 talented Gold Medalists by helping us. With the community's unwavering generosity, we have raised sufficient funds to send 20 students to the National ACT-SO Competition.

Each student's journey costs $2,200, and we are committed to making sure that the remaining 8 students are given the opportunity to showcase their talents on the national stage.

Join us in making a difference and empowering the next generation of leaders!
